The turning shed at the abandoned Redstone Granite Quarry in the village of Redstone, North Conway, NH. The weathered wooden structure, open at the top in order to lower large granite blocks into the lathe, surrounds the immense lathe used to turn the pink and green granite blocks into smooth columns.
