While the mountains were overrun with people and traffic searching out the remaining fall foliage, my daughter and I sought to avoid the crowds by heading to one of my favorite locations along the southern Maine coast. Fort Foster in Kittery has everything a seascape photographer could want, rocks, a long pier, and views of Whaleback Light out in the harbor. Best of all, no crowds.
